Grants of £1000 are offered to those in financial need taking undergraduate vocational courses of education which will lead to paid employment (other than a full time first degree)
The Trust is particularly interested in helping those who, through adverse or unexpected circumstances, have financial difficulties.
Grants normally supplement assistance received from other sources, so the Trust needs to be satisfied you will have sufficient funds to complete the course.

Sir Richard Stapley Educational Trust

Grants of £300 - £1000 are available to graduates over the age of 24 with a 1st class or 2:1 honours degree, studying for a 2nd degree in medicine or a postgraduate qualification OR final year under-graduate medical students who are expected to achieve a 1st or 2:1 honours degree and are proposing to undertake post-graduate studies.

Grants of up to £2000 a year to current second and third year students for the following academic year. Applications are only accepted from students on the standard five year medical course who have debts totalling more then £2500. Students on the four year course may also be considered if they live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the EU. Applications are not accepted from overseas students or students who have access to the NHS Bursary Scheme.
Applications are accepted between November and January for the next academic year.

Grants of £50-£300are awarded to female medical students to assist them with elective costs.
