The Biochemical Society
Grants are available for stipends of £200 per week for 6-8 weeks and up to £1600 in total.

British Association of Dermatologists
The British Association of Dermatologists offer £5000 towards fees and living expenses for an intercalated year project related to dermatology and skin biology. It also offers £500 undergraduate project grants
Sir John Ellis Student Prizes
Students submit a description of a piece of work, survey, research or innovation in which they have been directly involved, in the field of medical education. First Prize in each category is £300 plus expenses (conference fee, accommodation in Halls of Residence, Annual Dinner and standard travel expenses). Runners up will have the conference fee and accommodation in the Halls of Residence paid for.
The Genetics Society
The Genetics Society Summer Studentship scheme provides funding for undergraduate students to spend their summer vacation working in a genetics laboratory in order to gain research experience
The Nuffield Foundation
A similar scheme is also run by the Nuffield Foundation
The Physiological Society
The Physiological Society offer grants of up to £1200 for students undertaking research of a physiologic nature under the supervision of a member of the society during a summer vacation or intercalated BSc year (if not receiving LEA or other government support)
The Pathological Society
Funding for students wanting to intercalate a BSc in Pathology but who do not have LEA or other government support. Also offer awards to fund electives and vacation studies in pathology
