Army Undergraduate Cadetship
- Undergraduate medical or dental students who are interested in becoming an Army doctor or dentist can apply for a Cadetship
- To be eligible for an Army Undergraduate Cadetship you must be a UK citizen who is within three years of graduating from a UK medical school
- If accepted, the Army will pay your tuition fees and an annual salary of around £14,000 plus a book allowance of £150
- Once you are fully registered as a doctor, you must serve for six years on a Short Commission
- Medical Cadets also have the opportunity to do their electives and attachments at Army medical units either in the UK or overseas
