From your fifth year of study on you will be applying only for the non income-assessed student loan for maintenance from Student Finance England. You should apply to the NHS Grants Unit for payment of your tuition fees and living cost support. You should be told which application form to download from the NHS Bursaries website.

•Apply online on the Student Finance NI website or •Print an application form from the Student Finance NI website or •Ask your local Student Finance NI Office (ELB) for a copy. You can find your local office on the Student Finance NI site. •The application form is called PN1.
Current students in Northern Ireland
•If you’ve applied for financial support before you will be sent details of how to apply. Only contact Student Finance NI if you don’t receive information by the deadlines. •The application form is called Form PR1. •You continue to apply to Student Finance NI/your local office for all financial support throughout your course even when you become eligible to claim DHPSS bursary support for your tuition fees and living costs from your fifth year of study onwards. You will be told what to do.

•Apply to the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) wherever you live in Scotland. •You can only apply online on the SAAS website. •You continue to apply to SAAS for all financial support throughout your course, even when you become eligible to claim Scottish Government Health Directorate bursary support for your tuition fees and living costs from your fifth year of study onwards.

•Apply online on the Student Finance Wales website or •Download an application form from the Student Finance Wales website or •Ask the Local Authority (LA) in whose area you normally live for a paper copy of the application form. The website Student Finance Wales lists the names and addresses of the LAs. •The application form is called Form PN1.
