Royal College of General Practitioners
Medical students are invited by the RCGP to submit elective proposals in general practice/primary care. A prize of £500 is awarded every year for the best proposal which includes audit or research.
Applications are made to the University Department of General Practice/Primary Care. The department then chooses the best application and sends it to the Royal College of General Practitioners to determine the overall winner. Winners must submit a 500 word report on their elective within 6 months of completing it.
Closing date for applications to University departments – February 29th.
