Difficulties at work?

If you run into problems at work there are a number of sources of information and help available to you. You can:

• Find out more about your rights as an employee on the related internet sites.

• Telephone the confidential ACAS (Advisory, Arbitration and Conciliation Service) Helpline on 08457 47 47 47 for advice. The line is open from 08.00 - 18.00 Monday to Friday.

• Visit your  University’s Student Advice Services, which may be based either in the University  or  the Students’ Union.

• See the International Student Adviser at your University if you are an international student

• Go to a Citizens’ Advice Bureau. You can find your nearest Bureau on the Citizens' Advice Website.
