National Minimum Wage

Once you have a job make sure that you are not paid less than the National Minimum Wage. The current NMW is:

• £5.52 an hour if you are aged 22 and over (£5.73 from 1 October 2008).
• £4.60 an hour if you are aged 18 to 21 (£4.77 from 1 October 2008).
